An Alternative Vision Solution

Your glasses are great, but sometimes you need a change, and that’s where contact lenses can help. Contact lenses require a different prescription than your glasses, so you’ll need to schedule a comprehensive contact lens exam and fitting with us to get a safe and comfortable fit.

Contact lenses work much like your prescription glasses, helping correct refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. We also offer a variety of specialty lenses to address and correct unique vision needs.

The first step in your contact lens journey is scheduling a comprehensive exam and fitting—book yours today.

The Exam Process

Before prescribing your contact lenses, our team conducts thorough testing that involves determining how your eyes react to a series of different lenses and tests that can help determine if you’ll be able to wear contact lenses safely and comfortably.

The contact lens exam also helps determine if you need specialty contacts like scleral or toric lenses.

Getting the Right Fit

A contact lens exam isn’t complete without determining the right fit for your lenses. Following your exam, our team conduct measurements to see how your eyes focus when a series of different lenses are placed in front of them.

Our team may want to see you for a follow-up appointment to determine if your new contact lenses fit properly and are comfortable on your eyes. From there, we can finalize your prescription so you can enjoy your new lenses!

Scleral Lenses & Other Specialty Options

Contact lenses typically fall under 2 main categories, soft contact lenses, and rigid gas permeable (RGP). Under these categories, we offer a variety of specialty lenses like scleral contacts for dry eyes to address different visual needs.

Scleral Lenses

Scleral contact lenses are an excellent option if traditional contact lenses are not compatible with your eyes due to issues like dry eye and keratoconus.

Scleral lenses are larger than traditional contacts and rest on the sclera, or white, of your eyes. These lenses allow for extra space over your cornea’s surface for extra breathability and act as a fluid reservoir between your lens and cornea to provide relief for dry eyes.

Multifocal contact lenses can feature a bifocal or trifocal design with different lens powers to correct vision at different distances. Multifocal lenses help correct presbyopia and can alleviate the need for reading glasses.

Toric contact lenses can help correct astigmatism. These lenses feature multiple powers, one vertical and the other horizontal. These multiple powers can help correct nearsightedness and farsightedness along with astigmatism. Toric lenses are typically weighted to help maintain the correct orientation on the eye.

Take Back Your Vision

Contact lens technology has come a long way, and we want to help you maximize your vision. Issues like dry eye and keratoconus can be challenging to manage, and we strive to provide relief through innovative contact lens solutions.
